Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency care as a registered nurse in a Level 3 Trauma Center emergency department. Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, administer treatments, and coordinate care to ensure optimal patient outcomes during your shift.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize based on acuity level.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following protocols and physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient progress using GE monitors and Lifepaks, documenting findings accurately in EMR.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families regarding treatment procedures and discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent emergency department nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Possess a valid state RN license.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
  
  
• 
  Display strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
