How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Conduct preoperative assessments and exams to ensure patients are optimized for surgery.

• Monitor vital signs following anesthesia and identify and intervene in post-operative complications.

• Administer and manage medications, IV fluids, and acute post-operative pain management.

• Serve as the primary liaison to ensure a seamless transition of care throughout the perioperative process.

• Provide detailed post-operative instructions to patients and caregivers to ensure a safe recovery at home.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
