Position Summary Provide behavioral support services to families and children with severe emotional disturbances by engaging the child and family in therapeutic services, as well as case management when appropriate. Follow an evidence‑based model to develop and build skills that help the child and family function autonomously and successfully, empowering youth to thrive at home, in school, and in their communities. Job Type & Location Job Type: Part‑time Locations: Positions available across Maui, Oahu & Big Island, Hawaii Compensation & Benefits Competitive bi‑weekly pay Flexible scheduling Paid time off Medical benefits Ongoing training from Psych.D. and Licensed Clinical Supervisors Professional and career advancement, including possible licensure supervision (LMHC/LCSW) Responsibilities Use a person‑centered, strengths‑based approach to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for youth Work with families and youth regarding issues that impact psychological or emotional problems such as stress, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, family situations, or any other mental health issues that might affect the child’s ability to function in home, education, and community settings Accurately document all therapeutic services in a timely manner using an electronic health records system Utilize digital tools such as Microsoft Outlook and Teams for communication, scheduling, and collaboration Manage your own caseload and tailor services to meet the specific needs of each youth Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure high‑quality, coordinated care Requirements Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field Minimum of one year of experience working in the behavioral or mental health field Must be able to transport clients Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger team Additional Requirements Proof of valid Driver’s License Access to reliable transportation and vehicle registration Proof of valid/current auto insurance Traffic abstract from District Court First Aid/CPR certification (HBH reimburses after 90 days of employment) Three (3) employment references Cleared criminal background check and signed statement regarding felony indictments/convictions Cleared 2‑Step TB test results (within 12 months prior to employment) Working cellular phone Equal Opportunity Employer Hawaii Behavioral Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
