Crew Leader

Overview We are looking for a Construction Foreman to lead a crew, plan and oversee the building process of our custom homes from start to finish. Their duties include keeping the crew on task, keeping projects on schedule and on budget. We need a proactive problem solver. Someone who has a positive, get it done attitude. Someone who is capable of working directly with customers. Background in all areas of construction will be needed so one can easily communicate with all sub-contractors to keep the job seamlessly moving forward. Responsibilities Collaborate with engineers and architects especially during the framing stages of the project. Read blueprints and frame a house efficiently. Work with subcontractors and vendors and delegate their responsibilities. Strive to do perfect finish detail work. Report project progress to client and front office. Lead, mentor and teach the trade to others; demonstrate strong leadership skills. Order materials for projects. Maintain health and safety standards. Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes. Delegate tasks effectively and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Qualifications Minimum 10 years building experience in the field. Must be a forward thinker, providing quality work and be able to see and resolve issues. Comfortable reading blueprints and knowing how to frame a house efficiently. Work with subcontractors and vendors and delegate their responsibilities. Must be a leader who is patient and willing to teach the trade. Detailed oriented, able to multi-task and meet deadlines. Maintain health and safety standards. Must be comfortable delegating and have strong leadership skills. What it’s Like to Work Here Come to the pinky and enjoy life with us!
