Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Writer role based in the Palestinian Authority. The Writer will develop clear, engaging, and audience-focused content for various channels, including website pages, social media posts, marketing campaigns, internal communications, and customer-facing materials. Daily responsibilities include researching topics related to telecommunications and community impact, drafting original copy, refining and updating existing content, and ensuring consistency with Jawwal’s brand voice and messaging guidelines. The Writer will collaborate closely with marketing, communications, and product teams to translate complex information into accessible language and storytelling. The role also involves reviewing content for accuracy and alignment with organizational goals, meeting deadlines, and contributing creative ideas to strengthen Jawwal’s narrative. Qualifications Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content in English and, preferably, Arabic. Experience in content creation across multiple formats (web, social media, marketing materials, internal communications) and channels. Ability to conduct thorough research, synthesize information, and present complex topics in an accessible and compelling way. Understanding of brand voice, storytelling, and audience-focused communication, preferably within telecom, technology, or community-focused sectors. Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and style, with strong proofreading and quality assurance capabilities. Effective collaboration skills, including working with cross-functional teams and receiving feedback constructively. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Media, Literature, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used for content management, social media publishing, and basic analytics is an advantage.
