Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical / Progressive Care Unit Schedule Nights – 1845-0715 Assignment Duration This is a 13‑week contract position. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical / Progressive Care Unit. This position involves providing quality patient care within a supportive and team‑oriented environment. The nurse will work in a combined MS/PCU unit, caring for adult patients with a variety of medical conditions. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care and ensure adherence to care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the healthcare team. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Utilize medical technologies and equipment competently. Document care and patient progress in electronic health records. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Experience with Meditech, BIPAP, orthopedic surgery, telemetry, cardiac drips (non‑titrating), and dialysis patients is required. Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications. Post‑cardiac catheterization care experience is preferred.
