Key Responsibilities\n

  • Build and maintain a trusting and therapeutic relationship with clients to facilitate effective counseling.

  • Perform thorough assessments to accurately diagnose and treat a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

  • Develop customized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, preferences, and circumstances, ensuring a holistic approach to mental healthcare.

  • Conduct regular therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, focusing on effective communication, conflict resolution, and emotional support.

You will be working primarily with diverse populations, including individuals grappling with significant life changes, couples experiencing relational challenges, and families navigating systemic issues. Understanding and responding to the unique cultural and social backgrounds of clients will be central to your approach, ensuring that every client receives culturally sensitive and appropriate care.

Qualifications\n

  • Valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

  • Demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of mental health conditions.
