Warehouse Supervisor

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE

$55,000 to $75,000 Compensation commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, inventory control, and cross-dock activities.
• Lead, coach, train, and motivate warehouse associates while fostering teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
• Assign work, monitor productivity, and ensure daily operational goals and customer service expectations are met.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently as operational needs require.
• Ensure all forklift operators follow company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to manage inventory transactions, receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, and inventory accuracy.
• Review and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, compliance, and operational documentation.
• Verify inbound and outbound freight for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal departments to resolve operational issues.
• Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and performance, providing coaching and corrective action when appropriate.
• Conduct routine warehouse inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards.
• Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged freight, equipment issues, and safety concerns to management.
• Assist the Warehouse Manager with scheduling, staffing, workflow planning, and process improvements.
• Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
