Custodian

The Employment Development Department's, Tax Branch's, Field Audit and Compliance Division, is looking to fill one (1) full-time Custodian position in the San Jose Area Audit Office's, Technical Audit and Outreach Group.


The Custodian, under the direction of the Tax Administrator I, assists with the general cleaning and custodial work in the San Jose Area Audit Office. Applicants must have the ability to safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs and have the ability to identify and resolve complex issues as related to custodial functions.

Position located at 906 Ruff Drive, San Jose, CA 95110. This location offers Free Parking.
Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for hours in the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) per month. Background Investigation Requirement
