Automotive Recall Technician

Position Overview

We are currently seeking 5 Temporary Automotive Recall Technicians to assist with a major supplier recall project. This is a short-term assignment expected to begin on May 26, 2026, and run for approximately up to 3 weeks. Candidates should have basic automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude, with experience handling battery cables and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Re-install automotive battery cables as part of a recall repair process
• Remove and replace bolts, brackets, and related components
• Crimp and remove battery cable connections safely and correctly
• Follow repair procedures and safety guidelines
• Use basic hand and mechanical tools effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work efficiently to meet project timelines

Qualifications

• Basic automotive or mechanical experience required
• Knowledge of battery cable installation/removal preferred
• Experience with crimping tools and cable connections preferred
• Ability to remove/install bolts and perform light mechanical work
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required

Preferred Experience

• Automotive assembly, repair, or maintenance background
• Manufacturing or production experience
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to use hand tools throughout the shift

Pay: $20 - $22/hr (7days per diem)
