Licensed Pharmacist Opportunity

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital located in Boise, ID. This contract position offers a chance to provide vital pharmaceutical care in a dynamic hospital environment starting as soon as possible for a 13-week engagement.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Verifying medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Consulting with nursing staff and physicians regarding medication management
• Applying pharmacokinetics principles to optimize patient treatment
• Utilizing Cerner IT systems to maintain accurate medication records and support clinical decisions

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Idaho pharmacist license or the ability to obtain one promptly
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of medication safety and regulatory standards
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clinical teams
• Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy software is advantageous
