About the Position

❤️ Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

Location: Winston-Salem (27103)

Pay: $1,800/week

Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Duration: 13 Weeks (36 or 48 hours available)

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry RN to join a fast-paced cardiac procedural unit with high patient turnover and diverse cardiac cases.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Certifications Required:
  • ACLS
  • BLS (BCLS)
  • NIHSS
• Must-Have Skills:
  • Telemetry monitoring & interpretation
  • IV starts
• ⚠️ Must pass EKG/Dysrhythmia test prior to start

Unit Overview

• 24-bed Cardiac Procedural Unit (CPPU)
• Patient Ratio: 1:5–6
• High patient turnover (LOS: ~1.8–2.4 days)
• ADT Nurse support during peak hours (Mon–Fri)

Patient Population & Cases

• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath
• Pacemaker (PPM) & AICD procedures
• Watchman procedures
• TIA & carotid stent patients
• NSTEMI & chest pain cases
• Cardiac telemetry monitoring & arrhythmia management

Drips & Clinical Skills

• Cardizem, Amiodarone
• Dopamine (renal dose)
• Lasix drips
• Non-titrating Nitro (stable chest pain)
• Arterial & venous sheath management

Schedule & Requirements

• Night shifts (12 hours)
• Weekend Requirement: 4 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Floating Required to similar units
• No block scheduling guaranteed
• No call required
