Headquarters : Baylor Genetics, Houston, TX 77021, USA Description JOB SUMMARY The Molecular Genetics TechnologistII conducts high-complexity molecular tests in the diagnosis and treatment of genetic diseases while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform clinical testing following CAP, NY, and CLIA regulations. Troubleshoot assay performance and maintain laboratory equipment. Conduct quality control (QC) checks and report deviations promptly. Manage laboratory stock levels and replenish supplies. Assist in training new employees as required. Execute other duties as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or medical technology. Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 0-2 years. Preferred: MB(ASCP) or MT(ASCP). Occasional exposure to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials.
