Fuel & Lube Delivery / Warehouse Assistant

This position will be responsible for the safe, proper, and efficient completion of assigned duties within company policy and DOT regulations. This position will support MWT warehouse, maintenance, and delivery of products. All employees report to our 725 North 5th Street, Paducah facility each working day. Positions are full-time, year around with mandatory overtime if demands exist from our customers. This is a safety sensitive position, JSC Terminal, LLC dba Midwest Terminal is a drug free workplace, and we have a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy which includes THC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn all aspects of the warehouse duties, aways keeping work areas clean and free of spills, trash, and safety hazards
• When operating a CDL regulated vehicle always conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in safe and proper working condition
• Load and unload materials safely and effectively, following all company policies and DOT regulations
• Communicate effectively with managers and co-workers to coordinate schedules and tasks daily
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and company policies while driving any company vehicle
• Identify and report any issues or safety hazards concerning the vehicle
• Ensure compliance and adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear when needed
• Help maintenance team as needed and learn with on-the-job training

Qualifications:

• Must have a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Hazmat and tanker are required, if applicant doesn’t currently have both, they will be required to get these endorsements within the first 6 weeks of employment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to learn multiple jobs to help support all needs of the company
• Always dependable and punctual

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for extended periods while driving
• Climb in and out of trucks and equipment
• Must be able to climb/walk up and down ladders and steps often each workday
• Lift up to 50 lbs. above waist height on a regular basis
• Be able to work around a variety of fuels, oils, and cleaning supplies
• Must be clean shaven daily as our drivers are fitted and ready for a respirator at some of our delivery locations
