Lighting Technician

To deliver spectacular experiences worldwide. Find out more at: Position Overview The Lighting Technician must prepare and scan rented equipment, and QC equipment on return to inventory. They will also prepare transport cases and assist with loading outbound trucks. Typical Responsibilities QC and maintain equipment Keep the warehouse organized and clean; report any damage or hazards to the supervisor Pull orders for upcoming events Perform periodic inventory counts Familiar with computer networking, applicable hardware, and software (Preferred) Examine lists of equipment to be prepared for tours and assist in pulling tour orders Work with the supervisor to coordinate the preparation of orders on a priority basis The technician may be required to customize the equipment if requested by the customer according to the purchase order (Preferred) Prepare, scan, and receive orders in inventory system Ensure that all equipment sent to the planned locations is in excellent condition Report any breaks and/or missing items to the supervisor Keep track of equipment inventory Clean and visually inspect returned equipment Upgrade items to the current version (e.g. software updates, painting, cleaning, etc.) Follow quality standards as well as the company's and/or industry's standards of preparation All other duties related to the position. Your Profile Education High School Diploma or GED Ability to solve complicated problems Thoroughness and attention to detail Well-developed organizational skills Adapt to change easily Ability to work independently and within a team Experience Less than 1 year of experience in a live event production or event rental equipment Less than 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment Knowledge Knowledge of inventory software (Preferred) Knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) Requirements Strong interpersonal skills Ability to communicate information in a logical and clear way Ability to work alone and in a team environment Good ability to self start and prioritize within tight deadlines Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change Strong customer service skills Forklift certification (Preferred) TN health card and ability to operate commercial vehicles up to 26' (Preferred) Physical Requirements This is not an all-inclusive list but is intended to give an overview of the requirements for this position.
