Job Title: Head Bartender

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Bartender to join our dynamic team. The Head Bartender will be responsible for overseeing our bar operations, including managing staff, creating exciting cocktail menus, ensuring beverage quality and consistency, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Staff Management:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of other bartenders and bar staff.
  • Train new bartenders on company policies, drink recipes, and service standards.
  • Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to ensure efficient operation.

• Menu Development:

  • Design and update cocktail and beverage menus based on seasonal offerings and trends.
  • Ensure all drinks are prepared according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.

• Customer Service:

  • Interact with customers to take orders, serve drinks, and provide recommendations.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.

• Inventory Management:

  • Monitor beverage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and maintain accurate records of inventory.

• Quality Control:

  • Ensure all beverages meet high-quality standards in taste, appearance, and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and equipment as per NYC-DOH

• Compliance:

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws and responsible service of alcohol guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bartender, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service preferred.
