As a Product Design Intern, you will be assigned a primary Capstone Project to design or redesign Rogue product(s). You'll kick off with comprehensive hands-on operational training, participate in weekly Q&A sessions with leadership across the business, enjoy team outings (like a Columbus Clippers game), and present your final project deliverables directly to Rogue’s Leadership Team. Alongside the capstone work, interns participate in routine departmental tasks, attend team meetings, and work cross-functionally to gain a practical understanding of Rogue workflows and business operations. **Location:** Rogue HQ – 545 E. 5th Avenue, Columbus, OH 43201 (Onsite)**Duration:** 11 Weeks (May 17 – July 30, 2027)**Compensation:** $30.00 / hour**Target Candidates:** Undergraduate Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate Students **Key Responsibilities*** Own a primary 10-week Capstone Project focusing on new product design, mechanical component iteration, or structural optimization* Create detailed 3D CAD models, production drawings, and structural simulations using SolidWorks* Work hands-on with prototyping tools, fabrication machinery, and functional testing setups in our Columbus plant* Collaborate with other designers and cross-functional teams **Qualifications*** Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate (Junior/Senior) or Graduate degree program in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field* Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, value stream mapping, ergonomic assessments, and process optimization* Proficiency with simulation software (Arena, Simio) or CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus* Passion for hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced environmentBy applying to Rogue, regardless of the platform you choose to use, you are agreeing to Rogue's preferred methods of communication (i.e. text message).
