Our mission-driven team is seeking a bold and dynamic Facilities Technician, Level IV who is fueled by high accountability, execution horsepower, and driven to understand our world, science/technology, and life itself, for the benefit of all on Earth and beyond.Position SummarySince Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy Facilities Technician, our team is looking for an energetic and dynamic Facilities Technician who will primarily be responsible for aiding Axiom's Facilities team with expanding and outfitting all our facilities to meet Axiom's expanding business needs. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about thoughtful building systems and excels at problem solving. The role requires strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsuring all projects are completed efficiently, and safelyMaintenance and repair of facilities and equipmentProvide scheduled and emergency/unscheduled repairsCommunication with managementOversight & install/repair: HVAC systems, cabinets, partitions, shelves, drop ceilings, floors, doors, locks, faucets, water heaters, lighting, and related itemsComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areasOperating and Maintaining Shop EquipmentOperating heavy machinery, such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and manlifts is a plusVisit job sites daily to document and ensure the quality, safety, and progress of the workCommunicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadershipImplementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecyclePerform additional job duties as assignedQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
