Project Funding Manager

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in IT project funding administration and enterprise grants management.

• Proficiency in budget forecasting and financial tracking for large-scale technology initiatives.

• Experience with developing federal funding requests and complex technology project compliance documents.

• Experience in vendor contract administration including managing RFPs, SOWs, and financial amendments.

• Experience with executing cross-functional cost allocation and enterprise resource financial tracking.

• Experience in monitoring public funding policies, certification reporting, and project audit processes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to synthesize complex financial narratives for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation, maintenance, and submission of formal federal funding requests and operational updates.

• Manage enterprise project budgets, financial forecasts, and cost allocations for data and analytics portfolios.

• Oversee vendor contract lifecycles encompassing statements of work, amendments, and invoice processing.

• Coordinate with finance, procurement, and IT architecture teams to validate technical project scope and budgets.

• Maintain detailed financial tracking matrices to prevent funding gaps and ensure strict regulatory compliance.

• Audit enterprise timecard coding reports to guarantee accuracy and compliance with approved resource allocations.

• Prepare comprehensive executive briefings, contract summaries, and risk assessments for IT program leadership.
