Collections Litigation Attorney - NYC, Independent, High-Volume

A well-established New York City law firm is seeking a Collections Litigation Attorney with direct experience handling creditor‑side collections matters, judgment enforcement, and high-volume litigation workflow. This role is best suited for an attorney already practicing in collections, creditors’ rights, commercial recovery, or debt enforcement who can independently manage matters from filing through post‑judgment enforcement with minimal ramp‑up. What You Will Handle Manage a high-volume caseload of creditor-side collections and recovery matters from inception through enforcement Obtain and enforce judgments on behalf of clients and the firm Handle post-judgment enforcement proceedings, including restraining notices, executions, garnishments, and related remedies Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and enforcement documents Appear in court regularly and manage matters independently Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements on contested and uncontested matters Work directly with clients and internal stakeholders in a fast‑paced litigation environment Ideal Background 5–10 years of litigation experience preferred Direct experience in collections litigation, creditors’ rights, debt recovery, or judgment enforcement required Strong familiarity with New York collections procedure and post-judgment remedies Ability to independently manage workflow, deadlines, and active caseloads Comfortable operating in a high-volume, practical litigation environment Admitted to practice in New York Why This Role Immediate hands‑on responsibility with substantial independent case ownership Established New York litigation platform with consistent workflow Opportunity to join a practical, fast‑paced litigation team handling active enforcement matters Competitive compensation commensurate with experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Limitless Workforce
