TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Brooklyn, Maryland, 21225!

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of strong experience preferred, 3 years of experience preferred. License: Must have a valid nursing license in the relevant state. Certifications: C-EFM through NCC, BLS, NRP, STABLE preferred; ACLS preferred. Must-Have: Scrub experience preferred, Charge experience preferred. Description: L&D RN position available for locals only. C-EFM certification through NCC is required at the time of submission. Candidates must be local within a 60-mile radius. Float requirements include Mother/Baby and scrub experience preferred. Two shifts of call are required per 6-week schedule. Every other weekend availability is required. Charge experience and Cerner experience are preferred. Candidates are expected to have experience with various labor and delivery procedures. Responsibilities include administration of blood products, amnioinfusion, and high-risk delivery assistance. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in newborn assessment and care. Interest in collaborative practice within an interdisciplinary support team is essential. Candidates should be knowledgeable in antepartum and postpartum care, and management of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy. Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety precautions is a must. Candidates must pass required clinical assessments and training modules upon hire. Travel experience is required. References are required to support a minimum of 2 years of experience in the previous 3 years. No requested time off is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment.
