Organization: Emergency Services 10 Job Summary: Provides nursing care by applying the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education and care coordination. Communicates effectively with the healthcare team, collaborates on patient goals, and engages in ongoing professional development according to Board of Nursing standards. Position Hours: Full-Time Nights (3 12-hour shifts) Department Summary: Our department is a Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Center. The environment is fast-paced and high-volume, with a team that feels like family. We treat all patients with emergent medical conditions. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate on care plans and coordinate care delivery. Assess and evaluate patient information to determine nursing diagnoses. Use the nursing process to evaluate progress and adjust interventions. Promote health and ensure a safe environment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Technical Capabilities: Care Planning: Ability to anticipate needs, prioritize, and organize work efficiently. Nursing Patient Education: Provide fundamental patient education effectively. Nursing Patient Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct assessments, recognize problems, and communicate with the healthcare team. Evidence-Based Practice: Search for evidence to inform clinical questions.
