Work Environment Our outpatient facility operates Monday through Saturday, offering services that are both comprehensive and client-centered. Key Responsibilities As a Mental Health Counselor at Inner Fire Wellness Center, your core responsibilities will include: Conducting detailed psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to tailor interventions according to their specific needs. Engaging in comprehensive patient and family assessments, triaging care effectively to ensure timely support. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams through meetings and documentation, contributing to the development of holistic care plans. Applying your clinical skills to provide thoughtfully designed interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatment modalities. Ensuring ethical and timely documentation to maintain high standards of care and compliance with organizational protocols. Facilitating case management by coordinating with community professionals and resources to enhance treatment outcomes for patients. Patient Population / Client Focus Your focus will be on serving a diverse patient population, ranging from children to seniors, each grappling with varying degrees of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. By offering tailored therapy and support, you will play a vital role in fostering resilience and promoting emotional well-being in our clients and their families. Qualifications To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of New Jersey. Possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a solid understanding of therapeutic interventions and standards. Willingness to work a flexible schedule of 10 to 40 hours per week, catering to client needs. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, candidates with additional credentials, such as experience in specific therapy modalities, or previous work in outpatient mental health settings, will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits At Inner Fire Wellness Center, we value our clinicians and offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
