Inspect, service, install and perform maintenance on fire alarm systems in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.The Technician will be responsible for providing inspections, installations, and service on a variety of fire alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals.

Position is located in Torrington, CT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide fire alarm service, inspections and installation calls.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a C, L, or E Connecticut Electrical License
• Applicable licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.
• Prior fire alarm experience in installations, inspections and servicing codes.
• Excellent communications, and customer service skills.
• Ability and desire to mentor and pass on knowledge to all levels of trainees.
• Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.

In addition to the above, the most desirable candidate will have, but not required:

• Applicable experience either in the fire protection/fire alarm industry or the commercial customer service business in some capacity.
• A fire alarm systems background or a background working as a licensed electrician.

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
