The role involves working in a dynamic hospital environment, providing specialized cardiac care on the 3West Cardiac unit. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Manage complex cardiac conditions using advanced medications such as Heparin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone
• Perform procedures including chest tube and wound vac management
• Document telemetry readings and acknowledge rhythm strips per shift
• Perform bedside and hourly rounding, ensuring effective communication with PCTs
• Adhere to the floating policy across medical/surgical units as needed

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Advanced skills in administering cardiac drips such as Dobutamine and Dopamine
• Experience with EKGs and cardiac monitoring systems
