Job Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth patient assessments that include thorough physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical issues through the interpretation of imaging and lab results
• Work closely alongside surgeons to develop and implement individualised surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, placing patients in the correct positions, and handing off necessary instruments during procedures
• Administer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Prior experience through clinical rotations with an emphasis in surgery is highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
