CVICU Registered Nurse - 3x12 Hour Day ShiftThis is a 13-week contract position with 3x12 hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, covering every other weekend.Job DescriptionThe CVICU Registered Nurse will provide specialized care for patients following cardiac surgeries and related procedures. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing critical care conditions and applying advanced nursing knowledge in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care to post-sternotomy patients.Manage complex medical equipment such as ECMO, IABP, and CRRT.Administer medications and monitor patients' vital signs and responses.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.Document patient care findings in compliance with institutional protocols.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure2 years of experience in a CVICU setting.Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification.Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience with advanced cardiac life support protocols.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
