Position Overview We are seeking an organized, proactive Assistant Practice Manager to join our team. Working directly alongside the Practice Administrator, you will help bridge clinical operations and administrative human resources functions—managing daily timekeeping, onboarding, staffing coordination, and credentialing compliance. Work Model This position launches as a hybrid role, allowing for remote focus during administrative tasks while coming on-site for onboarding, employee relations, and meetings as needed. Due to clinic physical space expansion, this position is likely to transition into a fully on-site role within one year. Key Responsibilities Assist leadership with day-to-day clinic operations. Collaborate on employee retention, onboarding, and performance tracking systems. Draft job postings, manage job board advertising, screen resumes, and conduct initial phone interviews. Schedule interviews, draft official offer letters, and help identify ongoing staffing needs. Prepare and process new hire paperwork (I-9, W-4, benefits). Coordinate IT access, badging, and physical facility access for new staff. Manage administrative exit paperwork, COBRA, and equipment retrieval during offboarding. Other tasks as required. Pay & Qualifications New Graduate / Entry-Level: $22.50 – $26.00/hr; Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, Business, or equivalent clinical/administrative experience; strong organizational skills and attention to compliance details Experienced (3–5+ Years): $27.00 – $34.00/hr; Requirements: 3–5+ years of administrative, HR, or coordination experience in a medical office or rural health clinic setting; strong familiarity with timekeeping systems, provider credentialing, and clinic operations. Hybrid / Workspace Requirement: Must have a dedicated, quiet home workspace for remote tasks, along with the ability to come into the clinic on-site as needed for onboarding, employee relations, timecard resolution, and meetings. Position is expected to transition to 100% on-site within 1 year as facility expansion permits.
