Power System Engineer

Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for designing and continually supporting our AC Switchgear product line.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Engineer and design new UL891/1558 Switchgear and AC distribution products.
• Create and update as-built production drawings.
• Create part fabrication drawings.
• Support Production, Sales, and other team members.
• Stay up to date with the latest NEC, NFPA, IFC, and other applicable codes.
• Stay current with the latest technologies and components used in manufacturing.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

• Experience in designing UL891/1558 Switchgear and Power Systems.
• B.S. degree in a technical area of study preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of current UL 891/1558 and NEC Standards.
• Knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production drawings and 2D/3D models.
• Understanding of electrical circuits.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
