Growing together.Position DetailsLocation: 133 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215Department: Radiology - MRISchedule: Per DiemAs a Per Diem MRI Technologist, you will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures to aid physicians in the diagnosis of disease. Demonstrates excellent patient and staff communication skills and proficiency in IV insertion.Primary Responsibilities:Lifts and positions patients, operates equipment, and administers contrast mediaDemonstrates knowledge of MRI safetyCompletes/reviews patient history on every patient prior to studyMonitors patient condition during procedure and notifies physician of abnormalitiesDemonstrates proper filming procedure and critiques filmsProvides staff and patient protection in accordance with safety standardsDemonstrates proper infection control practicesMaintains cleanliness of work area and equipmentAssists with QA/QC activitiesWorks effectively with physicians and administrative staffTransports/escorts patientsMay instruct students and perform competency evaluationsAttends staff meetings and in-servicesSupports appropriate booking of studiesManages daily schedule to maximize throughputAddresses patient concerns prior to study when requestedMonitors inventory and assists with ordering suppliesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalentCertification as a MRI TechnologistACLS may be required based on specialtyCurrent ARRT (MR) registryPreferred Qualifications:American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)2+ years of MRI scanning experiencePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29 - $52 per hour based on full-time employment.
