Responsibilities

Fort Lauderdale Heart & Rhythm Surgery Center is a cardiovascular ambulatory surgery center specializing in electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, and interventional pain management procedures. We have expanded our services to include cardiac ablations, in addition to CRM, cardiac cath/PCI, and interventional pain cases.

We are actively hiring for a Cath Lab Technologist. Candidates must have demonstrated experience with EP studies, cardiac ablations, cardiac device implants, and cath/PCI procedures, as well as the ability to independently operate a fixed C-arm X-ray system.

• Running C-ARM and assisting the operating physician during procedures.
• Will be assigned as Radiation Safety Office.
• Restock materials used for procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Direct Cath Lab experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited radiology program.
• ARRT (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) as required by state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

• Comfortable with all cath lab procedures including heart catheterizations, coronary interventions, peripheral interventions, and device implants.
• Familiarity with Philips imaging and monitoring systems.
