Express Employment Professionals of Ithaca NY is recruiting dependable and hardworking CDL Drivers (Class A or B) for multiple openings with construction and excavation companies throughout the Ithaca and surrounding areas. This position combines commercial driving responsibilities with hands-on construction labor, making it a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working both on the road and in the field. As a CDL Driver/Laborer, you will safely transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites while assisting crews with a variety of construction-related tasks. Candidates with experience operating manual transmission vehicles are strongly preferred. Job Duties:

• Safely transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites
• Operate CDL vehicles in accordance with all company regulations and safety standards
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with general construction, excavation, utility, landscaping, site development, or laborer duties as assigned
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other job site equipment as needed
• Support crew members with project setup, cleanup, and material handling
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required documentation

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A or Class B License required
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
• Manual transmission experience preferred
• Previous construction, excavation, landscaping, utility, or heavy labor experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to assist wherever needed
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
