Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual circumstances. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, and families utilizing varied therapeutic modalities that may include CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques. Engage in regular collaboration with case managers and psychiatrists to deliver coordinated care, ensuring that clients receive the full spectrum of services they require for improved mental health. Offer immediate crisis intervention and support strategies for clients facing acute distress, employing both your clinical expertise and compassionate approach to assist in de-escalation and support. Participate in community outreach initiatives and educational programs that aim to promote mental health awareness and destigmatize psychological well-being within our diverse community. Qualifications Currently possess an independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). Hold a master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology, reflecting a strong educational foundation in the mental health field. Proficient interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for establishing rapport and building therapeutic relationships with clients across diverse backgrounds. Cultural sensitivity and competence to effectively address the unique needs of individuals from different ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups. Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills to manage a caseload efficiently while ensuring accurate, timely documentation of client interactions and treatment notes. Preferred Experience Experience in community health settings will be preferred. Previous experience working with a wide range of mental health issues and patient populations enhances your suitability for this role. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is favored, as this supports the documentation process essential for client care and billing. Participation in continued education or relevant workshops that advance therapeutic techniques or knowledge is advantageous.
