About

A growing payments infrastructure company serving vertical software platforms. Their model is to take on a software partner's payments programme end to end, and materially grow the revenue that platform earns from payments over the following couple of years.

Their target customers are vertical SaaS businesses / ISVs. Many of these platforms are private equity or venture backed, so the buyer set spans software CEOs and CROs, in-house payments leaders, and investor value creation teams.

The role

A strategic partner leadership role with genuine payments depth. You own a portfolio of software partners and are accountable for launching them, designing their payments programme, and hitting agreed revenue goals inside twelve months.

• Act as the senior payments lead across your portfolio, running monthly programme reviews and surfacing new opportunities
• Design each new partner's payments programme through a structured onboarding series
• Identify, unblock and deliver volume growth initiatives, maintaining a live pipeline of material opportunities inside partners' existing customer bases
• Recruit, coach and grow a team of partner operations managers supporting your portfolio
• Own your volume forecast and advocate internally for your partners with product, risk and leadership

Success measures

Time to launch, time to steady run-rate volume, and net payments revenue across your portfolio.

Who this suits

Broadly 60% programme management, 20% customer success, 20% payments revenue and financial ownership.

You'll need executive presence, the ability to build and present projections, comfort delegating rather than absorbing operational work, and the discipline to context switch across a wide portfolio.

Candidates must have owned programmes end to end with a tangible, attributable result.
