Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

This position is based in a hospital setting, where you will be part of a cohesive pathology team. Your responsibilities will include surgical pathology, GI pathology, GU pathology, neuropathology, dermatopathology, and hematopathology, among others. The role does not require you to gross your specimens or cut your own frozen sections, allowing you to focus on your core expertise.

Schedule and Assignment Details

The role offers a day shift schedule, with hours varying from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm depending on rotation. A call schedule of every 7 days (1:7 ratio) ensures a balanced workload. This locum assignment begins on August 10, 2026, and will continue until the position is permanently filled, providing continuity and stability for the right candidate.

You'll be working alongside a supportive team of pathologists, histotechnologists, pathology assistants, and cytotechnologists. The hospital's use of the Epic EMR system ensures streamlined documentation and patient management. Qualifications

• Board Certification in Pathology is required.
• An active Minnesota license is preferred, but not a requirement.
• Experience with the Epic EMR system is preferred.
