Physician Assistant- Nurse Practitioner

Job Description We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team! You will provide healthcare services, under the supervision of a physician. Urgent Care facility that has been in business since 1997. Must be able to see Adult and Pediatric patients and handle injuries and determine illness. Affluent in Spanish a plus. Responsibilities Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations Provide counsel and medical injury treatments to patients Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance Evaluate patient's needs and execute referrals Maintain a safe and clean work environment Qualifications Previous experience as a physician assistant (urgent care) Certified Physician assistant with current medical license (NC) Adult and Pediatric patient services Familiarity with medical tools and procedures Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build rapport with patients Benefits Annual Bonus Annual CME allowance Paid time off - vacation and sick leave Malpractice Insurance (with tail coverage) 401 K with match Medical Insurance with HSA employer contributions Paid annual license and dues fees (NCCPA, NC Medical Board and DEA) Company Description Immediate Care has been in business since 1997 providing urgent care services to our Goldsboro community.
