Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 of 3 Major Holidays Required (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit, including LDR rooms, OR suites, and PACU
• Manage and monitor patients in OB Triage, including third-trimester testing and triage influx
• Care for induction and high-risk antepartum patients with average daily census of up to 14 patients
• Float to like units within the facility or affiliate locations as needed to meet staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
• Participate in charge nurse responsibilities or train toward charge nurse role as directed

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license (pending license accepted for submission; license must be in hand prior to offer)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience or willingness to train in a charge nurse capacity
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Familiarity with high-risk OB and antepartum patient populations
