Sr Cost Accountant

Sr. Cost Accountant A growing manufacturing company in the Pacific Northwest is hiring a Senior Cost Accountant to build out its standard costing function from the ground up. This is a newly created role, not a backfill, for someone who wants real ownership over the annual cost roll, bill of materials validation, overhead absorption methodology, and manufacturing variance analysis — not just maintenance of an existing process. You'll partner closely with Engineering and Operations, bring GAAP rigor to inventory and COGS treatment, and have the backing (and appetite) to use AI tools as part of your daily analytical workflow. Salary depends on experience but ranges between $120K - $140K, plus excellent benefits including health coverage, 401K with company match, paid time off, HSA options, and much more! What we’re looking for 5-10+ years of progressive cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Hands‑on ownership of standard costing methodology and overhead absorption Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge applied to inventory and COGS NetSuite or comparable mid‑market ERP experience CPA or CMA (active or in progress) valued and supported Comfort building process from scratch, not just following one US Citizens and Permanent Residents are welcome to apply.
