RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Take call requirements for all travelers in cardiac surgery with 3 layers of call 24/7
• Call requirements vary every 6 weeks in addition to 3 x 12 hour shifts
• Days during the week will vary depending on unit needs and block schedule cannot be offered
• Must be able to scrub and circulate cardiac surgeries
• Minimum 2 years CVOR OR experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Patient population includes complex CABG/valve/repeat cardiac procedures, heart failure, ECMO, VAD, heart and lung transplant, PTE, cardiac trauma, adult congenital
• Adult patients only - no pediatrics
• May float between OR units but not locations
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Orientation dates available: 6/1, 6/22, 6/29 only
• Interview required with manager to offer

This major academic medical center is a 1000+ bed hospital featuring a comprehensive 56-bed operating room facility that handles both inpatient and outpatient procedures, plus 5 procedural rooms. As a Level 1 trauma center, the facility provides advanced cardiac surgery services including complex cardiac procedures, transplant services, and emergency cardiac care. The organization maintains separate specialized units for different patient populations and offers state-of-the-art medical technology and equipment.
