Security Concierge

Job Location: Costa Mesa, CA 92626 | Position Type: Part Time | Salary Range: $29.00 - $29.00 Hourly About the role: We are seeking a Security Concierge/Lead to serve as the welcoming face and authoritative security presence at one of our premier client locations. This role combines the responsibilities of a security professional, a brand representative, and a commanding presence that ensures both safety and confidence from the moment guests arrive. A polished and highly observant individual who sets the tone through professionalism, vigilance, and a strong security mindset. The Security Concierge/Lead reports to the Retail Supervisor and is responsible for maintaining a visible deterrent to potential risks while delivering a seamless, luxury guest experience. This position requires the ability to balance hospitality with assertiveness, demonstrating control, awareness, and sound judgment in all situations. The ideal candidate is poised and confident, with a strong security command presence. They can uphold a refined brand image while proactively managing safety concerns, de-escalating situations when necessary, and maintaining a secure, well-controlled environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and engage guests with professionalism, courtesy, and a sense of presence. Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor that reflect the brand and uphold the client’s image. Provide a visible and confident presence at entry points—offering both security and an enhanced guest experience. Control and monitor access to ensure only authorized individuals enter. De-escalate situations with composure and discretion, always protecting the client’s brand reputation. Collaborate with store leadership and SIS security teams to ensure the highest level of safety and service. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Prior experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or security. Heightened sense of style and presentation; must meet the client’s appearance standards. Ability to remain composed under pressure and respond effectively to incidents. Must complete and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client-requested certifications; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted. Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm, with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service to and engage with a diverse clientele. Have flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team when needed.
