Registered Nurse - Mother Baby And Postpartum Care

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Mother Baby and Postpartum care to provide compassionate support and clinical expertise to new mothers and their infants. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment over a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the health status of mothers and newborns to develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive postpartum and neonatal nursing services.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records and maintain compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.
• Possess previous experience in Mother Baby or Postpartum nursing.
• Demonstrate strong patient assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment over a 13-week assignment.
• Be willing to work a 7 am to 7 pm schedule.
• No local candidates within 50 miles preferred.
