Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Bangor, Maine. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel General Information: Beds: 26 ICU; include some negative pressure rooms Experience? 2 years minimum in ICU First-time traveler? Yes Patient Types: Medical, Surgical, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, Interventional patients ICP monitoring, External Ventricular drain (EVD), spinal precautions, DKA, Multi system trauma patients, Sepsis, ARDS, COVID, PNA, COPD, Stroke Patient Ratios: 1:2 – based on acuity (may get 3rd patient as one is being discharged or moved to the floor) Required Certifications: BLS ACLS NIHSS PALS (preferred) – traveler may float to PICU if experienced and has PALS currently Charting System/Equipment: Cerner (preferred experience) Alaris Pyxis Floating: To the Cardiac Care Unit (ICU) – will take patients within scope Cardiac Stepdown or Medical Stepdown PICU if they have Peds experience Orientation: General Hospital orientation, followed by 1 shift on unit Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Every other (Dayshift: Sat/Sun; Nightshift: Fri/Sat) Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? None Holiday Expectations: Varies, based on need – all holiday requests should be sent to manager for approval Approval of time off?
