Part Time Phlebotomy

Job Overview This is a truly part‑time role offered by BioLife. The work schedule is 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week, with flexibility for both the employee and the organization. Availability and shift details are confirmed early in the interview process and any schedule changes are communicated in advance. The role requires reliability during scheduled hours as the patients depend on the plasma we collect. Responsibilities Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on customer service and safety. Screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs, and perform finger‑stick tests. Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational improvement opportunities and implement changes using approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees for the entire shift. Can lift up to 5 lbs. routinely and occasionally up to 32 lbs. (rarely 50 lbs.). Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear distant equipment. Must work evenings, weekends, and holidays. 1+ year of customer or patient‑facing experience is helpful. Compensation and Benefits Hourly wage: $18.00 per hour, subject to state or local minimum wage requirements.
