Store Associate

SHOE SHOW, INC., the country's largest privately held footwear retailer in business for 65 years with nearly 1,000 stores in 47 states, is seeking an experienced Store Associate to join our team. What You Should Know Associates are responsible for positively contributing to our customers shopping experience by providing knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient service. Team members must deliver impeccable customer service by acting with a "customer comes first" attitude. Greeting customers, attending to their needs, and building a loyal client base are just a few of the key responsibilities. To perform these responsibilities, associates must be able to positively interact and build relationships with customers, co‑workers, and management teams. What You Will Do The Sales Associate gathers and uses product knowledge to educate customers and assists them in making product selections. They will tag merchandise for sale, apply promotional notices and price tags, apply loss prevention sensors, and process merchandise from the stock room to the sales floor. In addition, they will assist in unloading and processing stock weighing up to 55 lbs. The Sales Associate will perform sales transactions through skillful use of the POS system and complete these transactions in a professional, friendly, and timely manner. They are responsible for communicating information regarding sales, markdowns, customer programs, and promotions to all customers.
