We are seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist who is confident in providing comprehensive periodontal care, values patient education, and thrives in a collaborative practice setting.

Position Details

• Schedule: Tuesday-Friday
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Practice Environment: Patient-focused, team-oriented, and growth-minded
• Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene services
• Perform SRP and other hygiene procedures with confidence and clinical excellence
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment needs, and disease prevention
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience through strong communication and customer service skills
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to support efficient patient care and practice growth
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling, charting, documentation, and treatment planning
• Opportunity to utilize laser therapy skills for enhanced periodontal treatment (preferred)

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Previous dental hygiene experience preferred
• Strong customer service and patient communication skills
• Proficiency with Dentrix or the ability to quickly learn practice management software
• Confidence performing SRP and comprehensive periodontal procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Laser certification preferred but not required
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and education

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
