Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill an on-site Value Stream Supervisor job with a key client in the manufacturing space. If you have four to six years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment and a passion for continuous improvement, this DIRECT HIRE opportunity could be a great fit for you. In this role, you will lead a team of production employees on the plant floor, ensuring that quality, safety, delivery, and cost metrics are met while driving efficiency and continuous improvement across the value stream. You will bring strong leadership skills, a forward-thinking mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Value Stream Supervisor Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe, efficient completion of the production process in a high quality and repeatable manner, with an expectation of being on the floor 70% of the time or more
• Lead and actively participate in QRQC routines, conduct root cause analysis on machine issues, and coordinate with mechanics
• Continuously seek improvement and cost-savings opportunities in existing processes, systems, tools, and technologies
• Maintain adequate staffing levels and oversee onboarding, training, and performance management of all team members within the shift
• Coach and develop production employees, including oversight of performance, attendance, and employee relations issues
• Escalate recurring issues regarding employee performance or value stream KPIs as needed
• Ensure critical supplies for the value stream are flowing and on order

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or Manufacturing Technology preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
• Four to six years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and report data and prioritize work effectively
• Strong work ethic and safety orientation
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
