Job Title: Truck Loader Unloader

Job Description

Join our dynamic team at the distribution center, where you will be assigned to one of two docks: Manual Loading/Shipping or Semi-Automated Unloading/Receiving. You'll be responsible for loading and unloading 18-wheelers using moveable conveyors, ensuring efficient cross-docking processes. This role is labor-intensive, requiring frequent movements on and off the backs of trailers while managing freight using a WMS terminal, scales, and scanners.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using moveable conveyors.
• Identify, separate, count, combine, and scan freight.
• Utilize proper loading techniques, placing heavy products on the bottom and lighter products on top.
• Enter information accurately on a computer.
• Ensure efficient cross-docking processes.
• Maintain a high standard of attendance and performance.

Essential Skills

• 0-2 years of experience in manual labor, loading/unloading trucks.
• Material handling and order pulling.
• Proficiency in computer skills and warehouse inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience.
• Experience in shipping and receiving.
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs.
• Flexibility to move between areas within the facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sutherland, VA.

The pay range for this position is $21.60 - $27.30/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
