Maintenance EngineerOur team at Hotel Bardo Savannah is searching for a reliable, driven Maintenance Engineer with a willingness to learn to join our Engineering team in maintaining our hotel and creating a unique and rejuvenating environment for our guests. In this role you will play a pivotal role in preserving the properties standards for excellence while working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Our ideal candidate will be dedicated to upholding the highest standards of comfort and functionality throughout the hotel.This is an onsite position located at Hotel Bardo Savannah.What you'll doPerform preventative maintenance on all hotel equipmentMake repairs to air conditioning system, pool and spa, electrical fixtures, furniture, plumping, and kitchen equipment as neededPerform and maintain work to local, state, and federal codesMaintain positive working relationships with all guests and team membersRespond to all maintenance requests in a positive and timely mannerEffectively anticipate, identify, and solve maintenance problemsQualificationsA passion for providing a well-maintained hospitality environment and at least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferredTrade school or college course work in related field preferredExcellent verbal and written communicationAble to multi-task and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlinesExcellent presentation and grooming standardsAble to maintain positive working relationships and consistent communication across all departments
