Material Planner

An automobile part supplier in Monroe, MI is seeking a Material Planner to manage customer requirements and complaints. You will be required to process orders based upon requirements, modify orders, and escalate complaints or supply chain issues across several communication channels. To do well in this role you need to have experience working with computers and ERP systems. Position is 1st shift 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday, with a pay range of $18-$22/hr based on experience.

• Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
• Communicating with customers through various channels.
• Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
• Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
• Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
• Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
• Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
• Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
• Monitor the supply chain and acknowledge shortages/overages.
• Analyze system data.

Requirements:

1. Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
2. Proficient in using computers, Excel, Word, Microsoft 365.
3. High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent
