Join Our Dynamic Rehab Team!

- Shift: 8 Hours Days, Sunday through Thursday
- Unit Notes:
- Unit: Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Therapy
- Patient Load:
- Outpatient: Up to 9 patients per day
- Inpatient: Up to 13 patients per day
- Rehab: Varies
- Certifications Required:
- CCC-SLP for Speech Therapy
- PT must hold a valid state license
- OT must have passed the NBCOT exam
- EMR System: Cerner Powerchart
- Supportive Staff:
- Rehabilitation Aides / OTA / PTAL available (usually 2) to assist in rehab
- Weekend Requirements: Varies
- Scrub Color/Uniform:
- Maroon polo shirt
- Dark-colored pants
- Closed-toed shoes
- Lab coat optional
- Areas of Coverage:
- Assigned areas with potential to float to other areas
- Orientation:
- 1.5 days of floor-specific orientation
- Cerner training provided if needed
- Common Diagnoses / Types of Patients:
- Inpatient:
- No NICU, pediatrics, PICU, ER, ICU
- PT: Ortho, post-surgical, neuro, trauma, cardiac, med-surg
- Speech: Stroke, TBI, neuro, trauma, cognitive impairments, swallowing difficulties
- OT: Ortho, post-surgical, neuro, trauma
- Outpatient:
- PT/OT: Ortho/neuro
- Speech: Trauma, neuro
- Rehab:
- Neuro, spinal cord injuries, trauma
- Experience Requirements:
- One year of experience preferred
- Travel and trauma experience are a plus
- Candidates with inpatient clinical experience may be considered
